At HeartMusic Studio, every song starts with a story — and here’s mine.

I’m Hayley Hersh, the songwriter and producer behind HeartMusic. Before creating custom songs for couples and families, I spent over two decades immersed in the professional music world. My journey began in Los Angeles, where I worked alongside top producers and artists, fine-tuning records for major labels and helping shape the sound of pop, hip-hop, and cinematic scores.

Over the years, my work has touched everything from TV to chart releases. I’ve engineered and written on sessions with Grammy-winning talent, and contributed to songs that aired on shows like RuPaul’s Drag Race, Love & Hip Hop, and BoJack Horseman. One of the highlights? Having my writing featured on The Wanted’s “Running Out Of Reasons,” a song that still resonates with fans around the world.

But HeartMusic is where my heart truly lives now. This studio exists so that everyday love stories — real, imperfect, and powerful — can be honored with the kind of music usually reserved for Hollywood or hit radio.

Each HeartSong is personal. Handcrafted. Meaningful. And if the song we write together ends up in a film, on the radio, or placed with an artist? You keep 20% of the royalties. Because your story helped shape it — and you deserve to share in its future.
